ORA-12705

Estou tomando o erro ORA-12705 :Invalid or unknown NLS parameter value specified quando tento conectar-me numa base de dados pelo sqlplus. Estou no servidor e já setei o ORACLE_HOME e o ORACLE_SID corretamente. O que eu devo verificar para solucionar o erro ?

Eu nunca vi esse erro. Procurei no http://ora-12705.ora-code.com/ e achei o seguinte:

ORA-12705:	invalid or unknown NLS parameter value specified

Cause:	There are two possible causes: Either an attempt was made to issue an ALTER SESSION 
statement with an invalid NLS parameter or value; or the NLS_LANG environment variable contains
 an invalid language, territory, or character set.

Action:	Check the syntax of the ALTER SESSION statement and the NLS parameter, correct the
 syntax and retry the statement, or specify correct values in the NLS_LANG environment variable.

Sinceramente, a última linha foi a mais "útil", hehehe Talvez procurar no SQL Reference tenha alguma dica...
