Aplicação trava no brower

Olá tudo bem? bom recentemente instalei o oracle forms e reports 10g para que roda-se na web usando o navegador Netscape Navigator que deu certo em um certo ponto, bom no notebook do meu amigo que é 32bits abriu sem nenhum problema porem o meu que é 64bits (ambos w7) ele abre o navigador carrega o JInitiator 1.3.1.22 porem ou ele trava na metade ou carrega inteiro e não consigo clickar (navigar nos campos) fica tipo travado e não sei o porque disso, alguém pode me ajudar?

Olha, o Jinitiator é bem velho e as vezes e incompativel com os browsers.

Ali sugerem utilizar JRE em vez do Jinitiator.

Opa, ajudou sim mas como sou muito novo nessas coisa tenho muita dificuldades de configurar esse JRE, fiz o download porem contiuou na mesma ai vi esse site(que estava no post indicada por você)

subistitui elas pelo que o cara indicou so que continuou não funcionando e os respo do post não consegui fazer por falta de conhecimento tem como você me ajudar um pouco mais detalhamentos, como faço para o forms 10g rodar minha aplicação na web?

Tem que usar o JRE no lugar do JInitiator.
Eu usei essa dica e deu certo:

FireFox, IE crash with Forms 10g, Replace Jinitiator with JRE
Oracle Jinitiator is no longer compatible with oracle forms services. By default, Oracle Forms services 10g uses Jinitiator 1.3.1.22 to run Forms applications. Jinitiator was compatible with Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox version 2.0. But latest internet explorer like IE 8 and 9 crash with Jinitiator. Similar behavior is seen with Firfox version 3.0 and later.

To resolve this problem, you must configure JRE to work with forms services 10g. It is really easy and requires only very little work. Forms services 10g are by default configured to run with JRE 1.4.2_06. To get this working, locate following lines in your FORMSWEB.CFG file,

Now install J2RE version 1.4.2_06 from following URL,

http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2 ... index.html

Remove Jinitiator from you computer and restart OC4J instance. Now your Forms application 10g will use Sun’s Java plug-in instead of Jinitiator.



Instalei o Java 1.4.2_06 e fiz a modificação das 2 linhas abaixo:

Rodei no Chrome e funcionou perfeitamente.

fiz o que esse amigo disse, porem no navegar Netscape ele não abre a aplicação antigamente dizia que não achava o plugin agora não abre, firefox continua dizendo que não achou o plugin e no opera não abre igual o netscape vo baixar o chrome e fazer o teste nele.
